All three candidates in the race for District 43B share the same Democratic values: we believe in universal healthcare, affordable childcare, stronger public schools, protecting our neighbors, and taxing the rich. (Read up on my priorities here.)
The question before you is not who believes in those things. It is who can deliver them starting DAY ONE. After thirteen years in the House and four years as Majority Leader, I am the only candidate who can.

Why I’m Running
With the federal government causing chaos, rolling back protections and undermining basic rights, I believe Minnesota has to hold the line. When politics becomes more about conflict than solutions, states like ours must protect what matters most and keep progress moving. That means defending rights, strengthening communities, and making sure hard work still leads to opportunity.
I’m running for the Minnesota House because I know we can do better, and how we can do it. I’ve taken on hard fights, including within my own party, and I understand how to help people in Minnesota today. That kind of progress takes persistence and determination. In this moment, experience matters. I’m in this race to protect what we’ve built and help politics deliver for the people who count on it.

Minnesota House District 43B is currently represented by Rep. Mike Freiberg who is running for State Senate. The district, just to the west of Minneapolis, covers all of Golden Valley and Robbinsdale, and parts of Crystal and Plymouth.
